Standing by this thought the Burmans established one of the world’s leading Ayurved company, Dabur India Ltd.
Dabur India Ltd. is one of the leading FMCG companies in India today. Building on a legacy of quality and experience of over 133 years, Dabur is India’s most trusted name and the world’s largest Ayurvedic and Natural Health Care Company. Dabur’s FMCG portfolio includes five flagship brands with distinct brand identities – Dabur as the master brand for natural healthcare products, Vatika for premium personal care, Hajmola for digestives, Réal for fruit juices and beverages and Fem for fairness bleaches and skin care products.
The most influential people are the ones who leave behind incredible legacies and that’s what keeps the Burmans going. Some of the key people behind the triumph and success are:

Dr. Anand Burman- An alumnus of St. Paul, Darjeeling, India, apart from his studies he was always interested in areas related to Research and Development of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Professionally, he has held many assignments with the Dabur Group over the years. Dr. Anand C. Burman currently serves as the Chairman of Dabur India Ltd. He is also the Managing Director of Dabur Oncology PLC UK, a subsidiary of Dabur Pharma Ltd.

Mr. Amit Burman– Mr. Amit Burman is responsible for Dabur India’s foray into processed foods business with the setting up of Dabur Foods Ltd. It is to Amit’s credit that Dabur Real and Hommade are household names today. He is also responsible for driving all business strategy, development and communications at Dabur Foods. Amit took on the responsibilities as the CEO of Dabur Foods in 1999 and forayed into the processed foods business with a range of ethnic cooking pastes, chutneys and packaged fruit juices. Amit stepped down as the CEO of Dabur Foods when the company was merged into Dabur India Ltd in July 2007. He has since been appointed as the Vice Chairman of Dabur India Ltd.

Mr. Mohit Burman, son of Mr. Vivek and Mrs. Monica Burman, is the driving force behind the Burman family’s entry into several high-growth and sunrise sectors of financial services like Life Insurance, Pensions, Annuities and Asset Management besides Agriculture and Retailing.

Pradip Burman- He is the grandson of the Founder of ayurvedic and natural healthcare manufacturing company, Dabur. He currently serves as a chairman of Dabur Nepal (a subsidiary of Dabur India Pvt. Ltd.), Sanat Products Ltd., Ayurvet Ltd. and Mobius Foundation.
Mr. Burman was truly fascinated by Ayurveda. In 1992, Pradip Burman moved to Delhi and started a new venture – A veterinary division of Dabur India Ltd, which manufactured Ayurvedic medicine for animals. It was sold under the divisional name of Dabur Ayurvet Ltd and the consultant firm, McKindey & Co. was called in to professionalise the same. Eventually, unhappy with the interference by McKinsey, Mr. Burman took over the firm and named it as Ayurvet Ltd. Continuing his list of achievements, Pradip Burman also headed the PHD Rural Development Foundation from 1996 to 1999. He is also the Founder Chairman of  Sustainable Development Society (Sundesh), a CSR  initiative supported by Dabur, for development work  in the rural areas. He serves as the Chairman of the Mobius Foundation, a non-profit organisation working for education, sustainability and environment protection.
